Dr. Daniel Bright School is excited to welcome our newest students to Kindergarten Boot Camp!
📅 Monday & Tuesday, July 20–21
⏰ 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
This fun two-day experience is designed to help our incoming kindergarteners become comfortable and confident before the first day of school. Students will have the opportunity to:
✅ Meet the kindergarten teachers
✅ Explore the classroom and school campus
✅ Practice kindergarten routines and expectations
✅ Make new friends
✅ Get a feel for what a typical kindergarten day is like
The best part? No big kids will be on campus—just our incoming kindergarten students! This gives our newest Falcons a chance to become familiar with their new school in a smaller, welcoming environment.
🍳 Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
🎒 Please do not send backpacks or school supplies. These will not be needed until the first day of school on Thursday, July 30th.

Denise Daigle and her students were overjoyed to welcome some of the incredibly generous Groovy Grannies into the classroom for a fun-filled day of learning and laughter! 💜👵🎉

State testing is an important milestone, and we want to make it a positive, motivating experience. With your support, we can provide fun incentives, educational materials, and recognition awards that encourage our students to do their very best and celebrate their achievements. 🎉
We’re proud to share that our students’ growth earned us a “B” rating, placing us above average among schools in our area! 👏 In addition, we offer incredible 21st Century Clubs like bike club 🚴, archery 🏹, doll making 🧵, horse therapy 🐎, and watercolor art 🎨—giving students opportunities to explore their passions and build new skills.

DDB’s 21st CCLC After School Clubs are truly something special 💛
Clubs are more than just a place to go after school—they’re a space to explore, create, and discover new passions. From sewing and tap dancing to cooking, art, Dungeons & Dragons, yo-yo, Pokémon, theater, and so much more, there’s something for everyone!
And of course… it’s not all serious—we love the candid moments too! The laughter, the silliness, and the joy that happens when kids feel comfortable just being themselves are what make these clubs unforgettable.
Creativity was in full swing at DDB’s 21st CCLC After School Sewing Club with the incredibly talented Ms. Hailey, our amazing art teacher! 🧵✨
Students turned simple, everyday socks into adorable sock monkeys, learning sewing skills while letting their imaginations run wild. From stitching to stuffing to adding their own unique touches, each creation was full of personality!

🎨✨ Our Art Club at DDB’s 21st CCLC After-School Program had a creative and mind-stretching session this week!
Students explored the fascinating world of tessellations—patterns made from shapes that fit perfectly together without gaps or overlaps. Inspired by math, geometry, and art, our young artists experimented with repeating shapes and designed their own colorful tessellation patterns.
It was amazing to see their creativity come alive as they discovered how art and math connect! 🧩🖌️

Students in our Gardens 4 Humanity club are having a wonderful time learning, creating, and exploring using natural materials from the world around them. Ms. Tovah shares her love for our planet and her enthusiasm for art with the students, inspiring creativity and curiosity.
From learning about the importance of water to discovering different flowers and bugs, this hands-on club encourages students to connect with nature while expressing themselves through art. It’s no surprise that Gardens 4 Humanity has quickly become one of our most popular clubs! 🌼💧🐝

DDB’s Sci-Tech Stem night was a big hit!
With Stem Bingo, circuits, magnets and all kinds of building materials. Our book fair stayed open as well to offer to families who couldn’t make it during the day. We had 2 lucky winners from Bingo that received a certificate to use at our book fair. Everyone enjoyed the different games and worked together to discover new things!

Our 21st CCLC After School Clubs Tap Dance Club for Beginners is officially underway, and students are having a blast learning the basics of tap, building rhythm, and making music with their feet. 🎶
This club is all about confidence, coordination, and creativity in a fun, supportive after-school space—no prior dance experience required. We love seeing our dancers grow one step at a time!
