Hello to all DDB families... The Mtn. Lion route will NOT run for the PM time on Thurs, Sept 26th due to shotage of drivers. The AM route will run to get kids to school, but please find an alternate way home for your student. We apologize and understand the major inconvenience this causes. Low Income Student Aid, Inc.'s aid request form allows for not only a parent or guardian to advocate for their child, but school staff and community members can too! Coaches, teachers, neighbors, after-school club leaders, camp directors, etc...can request aid for a child enrolled at CCS, DDB or OCS! Please share the below graphic to help get the word out!

The Cross Country meet tomorrow, 9/25, is at the Camp Verde Sports Complex: 995 Champion Trail, Camp Verde, AZ 86322 at 4:00 pm. We will have transportation to the meet and home from the meet. We will have transportation to Beaver Creek but there will be NO transportation home. You must pick your child up from Beaver Creek school. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Congratulations to Hailey Turnipseed, who was awarded a $500 APS Classroom Grant this week! APS representatives visited her homeroom class to present the award. Hailey teaches Science to 5th and 6th graders at DDB. Thank you, APS, for supporting our teachers and students!

Tomorrow's Cross Country meet on 9/11 will be at 4:00 pm at Cottonwood Community School campus. We have an early release tomorrow which means dismissal from school will be 1:45. Cross country runners will need to go home how they normally do and will need their own transportation to CCS. Please try and have your child at CCS by 3:40. They cannot stay at the school because their will be no supervision for them as all teachers will be in their PLC meetings or Conferences. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
